About Linda Hager Pack

Linda Hager Pack is a business owner in Richmond, Kentucky. She taught children's literature at Eastern Kentucky University, kindergarten and primary grades for twenty-two years in Kentucky and West Virgina, and was awarded the prestigious Ashland Oil Teacher Award by Governor Paul Patton. She is the author of A is for Appalachia: The Alphabet Book of Appalachian Heritage and Appalachian Toys and Games from A to Z.Pat Banks works from her studio in northern Madison County, Kentucky. She has worked on special commissions and is included in corporate and private collections, including the University of Kentucky Appalachian Center, St. Joseph Hospital, Johnson & Johnson, Louisville Zoo, and many more. She has illustrated three children's books and is a juried member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen and a juried exhibitor with the Kentucky Arts Council's Kentucky Crafted Program.
