Auntie's Baby - Hardcover

Breanna J. McDaniel is the author of picture books, Hands Up!, Impossible Moon, and Cute Toot. A proud alumna of Emory University and Simmons University, she holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University, where she focused her research on surveillance and respectability politics in representations of Black children as food in contemporary picture books. Breanna spends her free time as an activist, where she promotes different types of literacy for families across the country. Savanna Durr is an illustrator based in Richmond, VA. She has always had a love for art and has spent her life being inspired by animated movies, cartoons, and children's books. She focuses on creating representation within her work in the hope that others can look at her art and see themselves.
