Before Summer Ends - Paperback

From USA Today bestselling author Olivia Miles comes a sweet beachside romance where grumpy meets sunshine and every sunset means a brighter tomorrow.

When free-spirited dog-walker Valerie Baker agrees to house sit a beachfront cottage for the summer, she envisions lazy days spent strolling with her four-legged clients and quiet evenings watching the tide roll in. What she doesn't expect is to find the home already occupied by a grumpy and reclusive author who's hoping the coastal escape will cure his crippling writer's block.

Nathan's deadline is looming, and his words have all but dried up. The last thing he needs is a sunny, spirited housemate with a parade of dogs in tow-especially one who sees straight through his defenses.

What starts as two strangers reluctantly sharing space soon transforms into the kind of closeness neither of them saw coming. But Val is guarding her heart, and Nathan has long since closed off his. Before summer ends, they'll need to face what's holding them back-or risk losing a second chance at a new beginning.
