Billy McKenzie, A Story of Love - Paperback

by Colin MacKinnon (Author)

In the winter of 1918, Flora Lijak, aged fifty-three and living in New York, sees the ghost of her long-dead lover, Billy McKenzie. The vision sweeps Flora - once a famous English writer, now forgotten - back to the London of the 1890s and her tempestuous and tragic romance with McKenzie in that city.

Over a hundred years later, Ozzie Hosseini, an American scholar, rediscovers Flora and decides to sleuth out her life. In the process Ozzie learns secrets that Flora never knew. Her work on Flora also leads Ozzie to a passionate though troubled romance of her own.

A tale of love lost and love found, Colin MacKinnon's new novel is a rich, moving exploration of the intimate lives of two remarkable women.
