Book & Candle - Paperback

by Aurelia T. Evans (Author)

She's willing to do everything in her power to find what she lost. He's more than able to take full advantage of her desperation.

Life as a witch in Meridian isn't easy. The pagans think she mocks them. The Christians think she's evil. The demon hunters think she's a target. The demons think she's a catch.

Violet Panabaker glimpses the spiritual warfare that goes on in the mystical hotspot city, but nothing is supposed to touch her or her friend-and sometimes lover-Clive, as long as they work at Book & Candle, a magic shop that functions as a neutral zone in the mystical hotspot city, which makes for some tense transactions between both sides.

When someone kidnaps Clive and steals valuable inventory from Book & Candle, they break the unwritten law and give Violet the permission needed to go scorched earth in order to find her lover and what was stolen from her. She enlists the help of veteran hunter Abel Simmons for his tracking skills and as additional protection.

The man is rugged, scarred, dangerous, as dark as the creatures he hunts, and he has an even darker price for his services.
