Bury the Dead - Paperback

by Rebecca Frost (Author)

It's been ten years since Ollie's mom and sister were murdered, and nine and a half since her high school boyfriend Eli was found not guilty in a court of law, but less than one since her hometown agreed with the verdict. It turns out they were killed by newly-confessed serial killer Sean Kelly, and whiz kid true crime reporter Len Wilcox is ready to write the book. There's just one problem: right before Len arrives, recorder in hand, Ollie's family learns that Kelly has an alibi for that night.

Ollie just wants to get on with her stalled-out life and finally marry Eli, gosh darn it, but now Dad's suspicious of Eli again, Len seems to think Dad did it, Dad and his new wife just had the biggest fight of their marriage, and there's something seriously wrong with Eli's cousin. Can't Mom and Birdy's murders be something that happened instead of something still happening? Except Len's ready to make his career on this, and he doesn't care whose lives he plows over on the way to the top of the bestseller list ... or how wrong his story is, as long as it's thrilling.
