Cicada, Dog, & Song - Paperback

"These poems arrive like field notes from a life deeply lived, with a farmer's patience and an engineer's precision."

-Renée K. Nicholson, author of Postscripts

"In the tradition of Robert Frost and Ted Hughes, [Thomas] writes about animals and rural life with compassion but an unflinching, critical hand ... The animal world and the human world are part of a seamless whole."

-William 'Chip' Miller, author of The Crow Flew Between Us
