Crazy Coon Lady: Short Horror Story for Children - Paperback

The Crazy Coon Lady explores the legend of a fascinating, yet secretive woman, who lived deep in the Southern Piney Woods during the early embryonic-stage of Texas colonialism. With beautiful opening illustrations from Shawna Bowman, readers are taken on journeys through unexplored paths through the pines. Travel with the townsfolk of Pine Veil, as they ponder the creepy nature of the Crazy Coon Lady's life, and the even creepier nature of her passing. Though long-gone now, the Crazy Coon Lady remains a haunting fixture within the pines of East Texas forests. Should you find yourself in these pines, you'll do well to read this tale and take caution...just in case you run into her, because legends say you might.
