Cursed Dragon - Paperback

She's stuck working a dead-end job in an isolated paranormal community. When they come under attack, can this snarky teen defend those she loves?

Kricket Jones is bored. Trapped with her family in a heavily warded enclave because of their dormant dragon DNA, the nineteen-year-old's biggest adrenaline rush comes from crafting forbidden charms on the sly. But her mundane life takes a breakneck turn into danger when strange explosions rock the community and everyone in town falls under a mind-controlled spell.

Frustrated when the local gargoyle guards are more worried about her use of ancient magic than the mysterious invasion, Kricket dodges their handcuffs and sets out to reverse the curse. And as the determined young woman fights to rescue her vulnerable friends, her dramatic show of skill makes her a target for the unknown assailants and the supernatural council.

Can she unfurl her true talents without burning her home to a crisp?
