Book Overview

by Donna Grant (Author)

Wanting her may be his deadliest mistake.

I am a Reaper-Death's weapon in the dark.

I don't question. I don't hesitate. I don't feel.

Not until Ettie.

She's supposed to be a key in our hunt for the enemy rising against us-just another life to protect. But one look at her, and restraint becomes a memory I can't reach.

She's fierce and stunning and so alive it steals my breath. A half-Fae with a spark that calls to the parts of me that were never meant to awaken.

Every brush of her skin lights me up.

Every glance promises trouble.

Every heartbeat whispers mine.

Wanting her is a risk.

Touching her is a temptation I shouldn't allow.

Keeping her close? That might be the one thing that destroys me.

But the danger closing in doesn't care the lines I swore never to cross. If the enemy takes her, the world falls. If Death discovers what she's becoming to me...I might be, too.

I was made for the shadows.

But for Ettie, I'll break every rule.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant delivers a seductive, high-stakes tale of magic, danger, and a desire powerful enough to defy Death in the Reaper series.
