Book Overview

I am the truth she won't survive...

Rachel Marek is a problem.

A human digging into secrets she was never meant to find. A journalist determined to expose the truth about dragons-about Dragon Kings.

About me.

I should stop her before she gets any closer.

Instead, I watch her. Want her. Break every rule I've lived by just to keep her near.

She's relentless. Fearless. Too tempting for my own good.

And the more she uncovers, the more dangerous she becomes.

Because there are others who won't hesitate to silence her. Enemies who have waited centuries for a chance to destroy us-and will use her to do it.

I should walk away.

But my dragon has already chosen.

And once a Dragon King claims what he wants, there is no letting go.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant delivers a pulse-pounding story of secrets, seduction, and a love powerful enough to expose a hidden world-and bring a Dragon King to his knees.

Previously published as part of the Dark Kings series, these stories now begin the Dragon Chronicles. For the richest reading experience, this series should be read alongside the Dark Kings world.
