Don't Run From The Sun - Paperback

Don't Run From The Sun is a story, in rhyme, about a young boy and girl who are afraid to play in the sun because they fear their skin color will get darker if they do. This soft yet powerful tale teaches the importance of being proud of your skin tone, whether light or dark, and never letting the power of the sun stop you from having fun. The story lends a kind yet strong message to kids of all backgrounds, specifically children of color, who may get teased for being of a darker hue. It is an affirmation for kids of all colors that being kissed by the sun is to be celebrated and not shaded.
