Fida - Paperback

by Stefanie Maucher (Author)

The Book: What would you do if your child just disappeared? If you don't know if it's still alive or dead? Would your family grow closer together or break under the load? At what point would you give up hope? And how far would you go if you found the culprit? Thirteen-year-old Laura didn't come home after visiting the library. The police quickly found a suspect - but no trace of the girl. Tatjana has been searching for her daughter for more than a year and isn't willing to give up hope ...Tom always wanted a pet. Preferably a puppy that obeys his commands. But at that time his father already knew about Tom's vicious, sadistic drives and so the wish for a toy remained unfulfilled for a long time. To this day! Because Tom is grown up now and he thinks it's time to fulfill his wishes by himself. Time for Fida! Vincent Prize 2013 awarded in the category of 'Best German Novel'.
