Fred's Day to Play: A Colorful Crew Story - Paperback

by Angie Miles (Author), Carlito (Illustrator), Elena Glebova (Designed by)

Fred is a kid with lots of energy. It's not unusual to find him helping with chores at home, asking lots of questions and learning to do things on his own. Fred also enjoys a good play date, and he has many friends. Also, Fred has parents who patiently help guide him through his days. Whether he's working, playing or with family or friends, everyone who knows Fred understands that Fred loves red. Fred's Day to Play is part of the series The Colorful Crew. Each book has fun with rhyming words while introducing and spotlighting a single color. The stories are especially meant to be read aloud and shared with young children. They are also a wonderful gateway into reading for those just beginning to read, and the rhyming text is a great enhancement for building phonological awareness.
