From The Gates - Paperback

In the apocalypse the only thing worse than dying is being unable to do so.

The First Woe has arrived. A plague of supernatural creatures has risen from the abyss tasked with a singular and terrifying directive. They must torment mankind for five months. In this new hell on earth death has fled. Suicide is impossible. The scream is the only language left.

But amidst the smoke and the agony two agents have been deployed from the Gates.

Blake and Dysmas are Recruiters. They are beings sent from paradise back into the meat grinder of the apocalypse. Their mission is near impossible. They must navigate a world gone mad while surviving the unkillable swarm. They must find one single soul willing to accept the only shield that works.

But the demons are not the only monsters they have to worry about.

Trapped between a supernatural army that cannot be killed and a human population that has descended into violent madness Blake must decide how far he is willing to go to save a stranger. When the rules of life and death no longer apply mercy might be the most dangerous weapon of all.

This forty one chapter novel delivers a visceral and unflinching look at the Great Tribulation.
