Galdir - Oath-Breaker - Paperback

It is the year of the five emperors and no one knows who will rule the Roman Empire by the end of the year. In that political maelstrom Galdir One Hand, Warlord of the Franks, must find his way, lest he lose all he has fought so hard to win. When the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius defeated the Franks, he sent the entire Frankish army east to fight for Rome. Only the friendship of Commodus protects the once-proud nation from annexation. But Commodus is dead and Galdir finds himself in a whirlpool of political change without a paddle. In a desperate bid to recover his men, he travels east always under the scrutiny of men who will take his life if he does not obey. Acclaimed historical novelist Fredrik Nath brings us the fourth tale of Galdir, Warlord of the Franks and sometimes loyal servant of the emperor.
