Osamu Nishi started her manga career in 2011 with her one-shot Shonen K in Jump SQ., which won an honorable mention in the Jump SQ. Monthly Awards. Two years later, in 2013, she won the inaugural SQ. NEXT CUP with her one-shot Hotel Hellheim, which was later serialized in Jump SQ. in 2014. Her next series, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, started serialization in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion in 2017 and has a popular anime adaptation which is still ongoing to this day. In 2024 she began writing Ichi the Witch, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump.
