Icon Rapture - Paperback

by Osman Khareef (Author)

To achieve RAPTURE, Carpocrates, an Alexandrian philosopher (c.AD130-150) who founded, along with his son Epiphanes, a licentious Christian Hellenistic sect which greatly influenced Gnosticism, Catharism, and the Knights Templars has written... "When one comes to understand Everything, and has gained experience of the All, only then can the spark break free and become a consuming fire that burns away the iron bars and stone walls of our imprisonment..."

Osman Khareef has written a deeply researched fast paced action novel containing many controversial ideas about early Christanity, its different forms and sects and the impact that this has had through the centuries up to modern evangelical times climaxing in an explosive ending.

Readers who enjoyed the Da Vinci Code, The Last Crusade and similar titles will certainly be entertained and enlightened by this well written thriller.
