This book is a fictional story about a teenage girl that has endured neglect and traumatic experiences prior to moving in with her father. She reflects on the initial traumas and then over her dysfunctional ways of coping through it and how it dramatically affected her development. It entails manipulations she experiences by her mother and how she learns to manipulate others to gain control in her chaotic teenage life. The book grazes the surface of one adolescent's story on how detrimental childhood trauma can be, both consciously and subconsciously, on the healthy development of self-esteem and self-worth in a child and teen.
