When things go wrong, or when you are sad,
When you get sick or sometimes mad.
Shall you grumble and complain?
Give up or cry?...
Offer it up to Jesus!
Give it a try!

Inevitable daily encounters of difficulty, annoyance, pain, illness, disappointments, embarrassment, suffering, etc., are hard for children to grasp. This read-aloud, picture book aims to introduce or kickstart young kids to a very basic, practical understanding of Jesus' command and example to deny oneself and embrace one's crosses with joy and peace while having fun reading rhymes!

Why learn to "offer up" our hardships and inconveniences?
- It follows the biblical concept and principle of "Redemptive suffering" like our Lord did on the cross. By following his example, we can share in His redemptive sacrifice. A love-in-action.
- It makes our daily little crosses more bearable.
- It practices the presence of God.
- It develops the virtue of perseverance and self-control.
- It makes sense of suffering, giving it purpose and meaning and seeing a greater good come out of it.
- It prepares our hearts and minds for the times when greater sorrow comes to us.
- It practices a form of fasting and abstinence.
- It reminds us we can not overcome trials and tribulations without God's grace.
- It deepens our faith and prayer life and helps us grow in holiness.

We are never too young to "offer up" our suffering to Jesus! So stop grumbling and start praying!

Great gifts for young ones, preschools, toddlers, in lower schools and homeschools, for birthdays, baptisms, first communion, confirmation, graduation, etc.
