Pole Pedal Murder - Paperback

When a star woman athlete dies ahead of Bend's famed Pole Pedal Paddle multi-sport race, Sheriff's Detective Carl Breuninger finds multiple suspects but no proof that the woman's death was murder. Sarah Chatham, the attorney the victim hired shortly before she died, believes the woman stole a fortune and ingeniously hid the money. Sarah and Carl help each other find the truth through intertwined investigations, interrupted by the gang-style execution of a prominent citizen during the race may or may not help explain the first death. The book combines fascinating mysteries, vivid characters, varied and exciting settings, and a surprising conclusion.
