A city will burn.
Love will defy destiny.
Boston, 1872.
When flames consume the city, secrets long hidden begin to rise from the ashes.
After twenty years of indentured servitude in India, Ayden MacKenna returns to Boston seeking answers-and perhaps vengeance. Born a pyromancer, he can read the future in fire. But the visions that greet him upon his return reveal something unexpected: a masked couple waltzing through a ballroom... and a destiny he cannot yet understand.
Across town, Amy Prescott lives quietly beneath society's watchful eye. At twenty-two she is already considered a spinster, content to guard her secret gift and dream of one day becoming a healer.
Jason Harris, however, has other plans for his life. Handsome, wealthy, and suffocating under Boston's rigid social expectations, he longs for freedom from the future chosen for him.
When Jason and Amy meet at a masquerade ball, their connection sparks instantly. But the moment he takes her hand, Amy is struck by a terrifying vision-fire roaring through the city and lives hanging in the balance.
As Boston hurtles toward catastrophe, ancient rivalries between covens ignite. Ayden's return stirs distrust among powerful witches, and the fragile peace protecting Amy and her family begins to fracture.
With the future unfolding in flame, love, loyalty, and magic will be tested as the firestorm approaches.
Some visions are warnings.
Others are destiny.
Pyromancer continues the sweeping historical fantasy begun in Prodigy, part of the Soul of the Witch Saga-a multi-generation story of witches, magic, love, and destiny.
