Remf - Paperback

With a backdrop of war, this novel is a graphic account of a veteran's mental collapse and eventual recovery. Via Gary Dyson, the reader is transported to 1968-the social revolution, the anti-war movement, hippies, psychedelic music, sexual freedom, marijuana and Vietnam. Dyson and his comrades flew Hueys into combat, returning to camp for booze, drugs, psychedelic music, and mortar bombardment. Thus begins his downward spiral.

Dyer takes readers along the frightening journey of Gary Dyson's mental collapse: drugging and drinking, un-employment, arrests, homelessness and, finally, recovery.
