Serendipity - Paperback

by Samantha M. Thomas (Author)

Can a chance meeting change the course of one's life?

Beck Davis.

A name synonymous with the bad-attitude Formula One driver.

A trip to Idaho for the holidays was supposed to be a couple of weeks of anonymity. Instead, it brought me a blunt beauty who wants nothing to do with anyone. One brunch cracked her thorny exterior and turned into one night of passion. The next thing I know, we're together the rest of the week. I'm hooked and ready for more. Except, when we leave Idaho, we don't exchange contact information. It hasn't stopped me from obsessing about her, though.

A year later, I go back on the off chance that she returns as well. I must be the luckiest man alive because here she is.

Sydney Johnson.

Workaholic extraordinaire, assistant to the CEO of Vanstone Properties.

One forced vacation from my overbearing yet sweet boss only puts me behind with work, and I'm dreading the time away. Then I meet Beckett, and I can't seem to pull myself away from him. Downing a gin and tonic shouldn't have led to anything, yet I decide to let loose for once. I don't expect to like him so much because this Christmas is all we can ever have. Even if he's on my mind every day since.

Almost a year later, finding out who he truly is changes everything. Hearing him out means opening up to the possibility of more with him, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that. But one holiday vacation turns into an accidental tradition between us.

Long distance and hectic schedules threaten something that could be paramount. Can we prioritize each other to see if this is a once in a lifetime thing, or are we destined to stay a holiday fling?
