Slim Siringo - 'Derechos' - Persistent Wind - Paperback

by David W. Bailey (Author)

In the lives of Slim Siringo, 2nd Lieutenant Jamie Carlson, and Flynn McDonagh, 'Days like a Shadow', proved to be looking into a glass darkly. Unclear of what will happen next. Then, there came 'Lengthening Shadows'. Dark and ominous, ever leaning towards a shooting war between the Northern states and the Southern states. Then there came, 'A Brimful of Nettle', which is to say, the cup of toleration is filled to the brim and could run over at any moment. The nettle is like a nettle bush against the skin. Itchy, uncomfortable, easily aggravated, and ready to fight if prompted.
