Still Rhymes with Dre - Paperback

Still Rhymes with Dre is me thinking out loud about love, self, and being human. I write about temporary loves, learning myself more deeply, and the annoyance of getting good at continuing - continuing when things don't work out, when doors close, when love ends, and when future you demands you to continue.

These poems live in the in-between of choices and feelings, whether fleeting or lasting. Some of them I even cringe at now, but that's part of letting yourself feel, I guess.

In both writing and living, I've promised myself to lead with vulnerability, because it honors who I am and creates space for connection with others. While these poems come from my own experiences (obvs), I hope you find pieces of yourself in the lines-or discover a feeling you didn't have words for yet. To me, art is most successful when it connects.

Still Rhymes with Dre is a series of journal entries in the middle of living and it'll be an ever-evolving project. This is simply where it's at now.
