Her job demands frequent traveling between planets while meeting with heads of state and pillars of industry. But a chance meeting with an old friend, John, starts her down a long and winding journey full of action and mystery, The Amant Chronicles. The second story line in Volume 1 focuses on Jennifer Winston, in our very near future. She's a young, naive country girl from Montana. But after her violent abduction by the Qyron, she finds her quiet country life transformed into a fast-paced lifestyle of rubbing elbows with the president, dodging dangerous situations, and being guarded by Secret Service agents. Jennifer's tumultuous story lays the foundation for the entire series and ends in this first volume.
