Book Overview

Word study is to intermediate grades as phonics is to primary grades. Older students face multisyllabic words, which can be challenging to read and write. The key is to help them identify common spelling patterns and large chunks of words they can sound out. This extensive resource focuses on morphology and its powerful link to spelling. Includes dozens of ready-to-use activities to help students master syllabication, morphemes, word parts, and more.
