Book Overview

Twelve years ago, Skully's world was shattered when a demon-possessed pirate captain slaughtered his crew, kidnapped his mother, and sank The Crimson Blue to the bottom of The Devil's Sea. Now, separated from his mother and siblings with only the memories and a skull-shaped birthmark to guide him, Skully must decide whether or not he wishes to pursue the life of a pirate again.

He meets the Pirates, Piper, Barnes, Jones and the infamous Captain O'Malley and they take him as one of their own. He eventually leaves the crew behind and lives his life at a slow pace. He becomes a bartender of a tavern and befriends the former pirate Quacks. The two then run into Skully's old crew, and it is them who tells him that they are headed to The Devil's Sea. They are looking for an ancient relic that can defeat the demon-possessed captain.

To save his mother, his siblings, and every soul on the sea, Skully must confront the monster who destroyed his childhood.

With battles that shake the ocean, friendships tested in blood, and trials that the gods set up, Skully and his crew must prepare for the unthinkable.

"The Pirate Tales of Aeryndor: The Devil's Sea" is a brave telling of found family, adventure and deep rooted fear, and how to overcome it.
