Welcome Back to ZondrellWhen the world changes in the blink of an eye, some run and hide.
Others fight back.

As the fate of the great city of Zondrell - and perhaps all of M'Gistryn - spirals out of control, there are few brave souls left. But even in the face of internal strife, unknown magic, legendary monsters, or even the gods themselves, they will not submit, for they are the last hope for the future.

Transcendence is the story of what happens when everyday people choose to become extraordinary. In this final installment of the Chronicles of M'Gistryn trilogy, the characters explore beyond the mortal realm and venture toward understanding the very nature of magic, their world, and what makes them human.About the AuthorDr. Anastasia Trekles is an instructional designer, educator, and animal welfare volunteer in the Northwest Indiana region. While she might not have graduated from the Zondrell Magic Academy, she has spent a fair amount of time around schools, as well as technology and all things science fiction and fantasy.

The world of M'Gistryn is a world completely her own, but she can trace her inspiration to everything from Final Fantasy to Star Wars, from Harry Potter to the Sopranos, from Ancient Rome to feudal Europe, and from Christianity to Buddhism. There is much more to M'Gistryn than magic and prophecies - it's a world full of real people, struggling with real situations and real emotions.

In her debut novel, Core, she explores issues of war, coming of age, and the fulfillment of our life's purpose. As the story continues in Ascent, her characters are faced with the intricacies of a city in chaos, a place where philosophies clash, questions abound, and intrigue lurks around every corner. In Transcendence, their perspectives expand even further, into the deeper mysteries that connect each and every living thing in M'Gistryn.
