Väktare - Paperback

by Kaia M. Leigh (Author)

There are no wolves in New Zealand - never have been. But there are werewolves... and there's Liss. Adopted into the Westlands pack, Alessandra De Witt has a secret of her own; an arcane inheritance that could manifest at any time. Or not. These things are hard to predict. In the meantime, life for Liss is working at a car yard by day, destroying things that go bump in state forests at night. But when a misstep with a powerful vampire pits the wolves against a being long since thought extinct, Liss's dormant ability might be the only thing that can save them from destroying each other. If she can figure out how to use it, of course. Väktare is the first book in the Väktare series.

Author Biography

Kaia was born in New Zealand and started writing urban fantasy novels in a notebook in chemistry class at school. She did not pass chemistry. She now writes speculative fiction, primarily urban fantasy and sci-fi, with a deliberate Kiwi flavour, and a fair whack of inappropriate humour.
