Book Overview

Give toddlers tools to ease anxieties and worries and feel better again.

It's normal for toddlers to feel anxious--they have enough experience with the world to know that things don't always go as planned. With her trademark mix of empathy and encouragement, author Elizabeth Verdick explores healthy ways for young children to cope with feelings of worry and anxiety.

  • Teaches Healthy Ways to Cope With Hard Feelings: Worries Are Not Forever uses simple words and thoughtful illustrations to help toddlers understand what it means to worry, and how to manage their emotions using healthy coping mechanisms--like talking with others or keeping your hands busy.
  • Gently Guides Readers Towards a Growth Mindset: Big feelings can be hard for young learners to understand. This encouraging children's book reassures children that feelings aren't forever and reminds them that everybody worries--even grown-ups!
  • Includes Helpful Tips for Parents & Caregivers: Additional suggestions and social emotional learning activties are included for adults in the back of the book for added support.

Best Behavior(R) Series: Kids, parents, and educators love the award-winning book series that teaches children ages 1-4 important life skills in fun, relatable ways. From managing emotions to manners for kids, each book in the series uses simple words and relatable illustrations that encourage positive behaviors.
