Alexandre Desplat is a renowned French film composer born on August 23, 1961, in Paris, France. Recognized for his diverse composing style, Desplat has scored a wide range of films across various genres, contributing to the success of several international productions. He has received multiple awards for his work, including two Academy Awards, three BAFTAs, and two Golden Globe Awards.
Some of his prominent scores include those for “The King’s Speech,” “The Shape of Water,” and the final two installments of the “Harry Potter” series.
