About Alice Oseman
Alice Oseman is a renowned British author and illustrator, born in 1994, known for her contemporary young adult fiction. She gained international prominence with her debut novel “Solitaire,” published in 2014, when she was just 19 and studying English Literature at Durham University. Following the success of “Solitaire,” Oseman has released multiple other novels, including, “Radio Silence,” “I Was Born for This,” and the “Heartstopper” graphic novel series. Oseman’s works are celebrated for their authentic representation of diverse characters and young adult issues, specifically mental health and LGBTQIA+ themes. In 2021, the graphic novel series “Heartstopper” was adapted into a Netflix series.
