Colleen Hoover is a renowned American author known for her bestselling novels themed primarily on young-adult fiction, romance, and contemporary fiction. Born on December 11, 1979, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, she attended Texas A&M-Commerce, where she studied Social work. She published her first novel, “Slammed,” independently in 2012, which quickly became a bestseller.
Several of her books have since been featured on the New York Times Best Seller list, including “Hopeless,” “Ugly Love,” and “It Ends with Us.” Her young adult novel “Confess” won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Romance. Not only a prolific writer, she is also the founder of The Bookworm Box, a monthly subscription service that promotes indie authors and donates profits to various charities. Colleen currently lives in Texas with her husband and their three sons.
