Michael Connelly

Michael Connelly is a renowned American author, best known for his popular crime novels featuring LAPD Detective Hieronymus 'Harry' Bosch and criminal defense attorney Mickey Haller. Born on July 21, 1956, Connelly has a rich background as a newspaper reporter, specializing in crime beat, which has significantly influenced his compelling narratives and intricate plot developments in his novels.

Following his debut in 1992 with "The Black Echo"—a novel which won the prestigious Edgar Award—Connelly has achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success. His work has encompassed over 30 novels, translated into 40 languages, and has sold over sixty million copies worldwide. His notable titles include "The Lincoln Lawyer" and "The Concrete Blonde," both of which have been adapted to film and television.

Beyond his novels, Connelly has also made significant contributions to the television script world, co-creating the successful Amazon series, "Bosch". Despite his success across various media, Connelly continues to engage his readers with intricately woven plots, gritty character portrayals, and gripping suspense, positioning him as a titan in the crime novel genre.
